So, I have slideshared chapter 2 (well, 1.2) and it's only 37 pages! That's including title and closing remarks, and I don't know how that happened. All the same, I've always been proud of this little monster - I managed it before I discovered poseboxes.
Onward!

Oh, and though there are references to the Princess Bride and the Lord of the Rings in there, along with the Wizard of Oz stuff that comes with the title, they're very oblique and probably could only be picked up by one who is as obsessed with The Princess Bride as I am. Or maybe I just remember thinking about the similarities there while writing this. Ah, well: four days to the Legaversary.

I didn't read it again, but I have read this one twice on the exchange, and think it is the best chapter (out of the ones I have read) Now I just need the time to read the others.
I had a quick flick through again, lol I like the bit about the sign.

This and Midina's interlude are in serious competition for my favorite chapter so far. I'm... well, I'm not surprised that this would be the one to get comments. Chapter 1.3's a little scattered, and chapter 1.1 is a lot of nothing until the very end. Ah well, no where to go but up.

Midina's interlude is where I am up to and I would have read that today if I hadn't had a headache.

Though I personally love the three Musketeers to bits, their first chapter is so-so, and the second one doesn't sound much like my non-sims writing. Off to see the wizard and Midina's interlude are the ones that, so far, seem to resemble my other writing the most, which is probably why I like them. Or it could just be that Eluisa features heavily in both of them. I'd be hard pressed to pick a founding generation favorite, but it's probably her.

I really enjoyed this. there's a playfulness mixed with the sense of urgency. A very well written Dramedy, this chapter is. And i think the story came across wonderfully without the use of pose boxes. Sometimes the game can throw you all you need if you shoot it right. Off to read chapter the third...

I do warn you, the later chapters have better pictures and are somewhat in a more serious vein... or maybe they just took me longer. :) Chapter 3 is happy, to the best of my knowlege, though. Welcome to my world!
