Darn you, slideshare - darn you to heck.

For me Thanksgiving break usually contains a long-ass trip to the grandparents' house (we hit lunch with my dad's side of the family on the way down and arrive in time for pie with mom's side of the family when all goes as planned,) and any other year I'd be working on a huge paper right now, except that huge paper was due on Friday so I'm done. I'm free!

Enjoy your Thanksgiving break! My Thanksgiving was a month ago, but I am looking forward to the wave of relative quiet that comes with everyone heading south for the Black Friday sales.

I'm glad I was wrong about Rean taking Ana as a beard. But oh, she might have had more fun if he had; at least Rean would have known her name! Excellent use of the premades there. Meanwhile, I'm sure Ana will have a much better date when her own prom comes around. *coughcoughLYDIAcough* ;)

Aranel was awesome here. You tell him, girl! I hope she and Rean and Trevor and their friends all have a much better time at the after-parties. And I hope word doesn't get back to Rean's parents; it's inevitable that they'll find out eventually, but I hope it'll happen on Rean's terms, not Nymea's or a self-appointed "moral guardian"'s or anyone else's.

I don't see the embed either, but I usually just follow the link to Slideshare anyway because I have bad eyesight and everything's bigger on Slideshare.

I tend to spend Black Friday chasing the younger cousins out of the kitchen so that massive amounts of dishes can be done. :)

Oh, I'm sure that Ana will have a good time at some other dance - she's going to chalk this one up to a learning experience, as in, learning that going with a guy you hardly know has no guarantee of working out. My timeline's screwy with the premades - Jules, Jacob and Sandra should probably be much older than Aranel, since Daisy is twenty according to my timeline but whatevs.

I love how everyone's reactions to Aranel swing between "she put her foot in her mouth, big time," and "she's a bamf!" depending on the chapter. Um... all I can really say about the rest is that you'll find out what Rean's parents have always thought the situation is, very soon?

I'm caught up!

I'm glad Rean and Ara have each other. He is def the superior sibling to befriend. *nodnod* And I'm glad that if him coming out to his parents goes badly, he can clearly go to the Evensongs.

Lydia & Ana remain precious. I'm glad Lydia gets to go to private school as well! I can't get over how beautifully Ana grew up. Just so gorgeous, omg.

Prom was great! Excellent staging there, as ever. Loved Ara being a BAMF, too. Hopefully word doesn't get back to Rean's parents, though I'm guessing there's really no other way it can shake out at this point. Unless he tells them first.

Can't wait for more!

You know, Lydia and Ana now have an official ship name. :) Ana is clearly the pretty one in the family, and I think it's because she came out with more of a mix of Haldir and Viridia's genes rather than being almost completely Viridia like Ara and Achenar are, or completely Haldir like Ariadne. (Though, Ariadne's going to be rather cute herself...)

I'm going to have to hold back a comment about Rean and Ara now, so look for the next chapter some time around Christmas. (I have literally almost half of it written already...)
